A neurohack is a practical solution for solving common challenges faced during business change and transformation.

They are called neurohacks because neuro means brain and hack means short cut.

Each neurohack is a short video. It begins with a description of the situation and the challenges you might be facing, or questions and comments you are hearing from others, so you can decide at the start if you think this is the right neurohack for you.

  • The video describes the solution using a voiceover and visuals, explaining the technique, or providing important guidance for
    how to manage change
  • There are descriptions of how the technique works in different situations, industries, and types of change, with the presenter
    sharing stories of their own experiences
  • At the end of the video, there are recommendations for other relevant neurohacks.

Yes, the videos are designed to help you gain an understanding, which is not always possible on the first run through. You can pause them to think about what you are hearing and make your own notes and you can play them again as many times as you like.

In addition, during every training course, the questions raised are evaluated and if there is a pattern of frequent requests for the same answers, these will be developed into neurohacks.

Three neurohacks/resources are added every 2 weeks, so there is a constant flow of new techniques.

Video is richer content with imagery, movement, sound and colour. It can provide a more meaningful experience for a learner to engage with the same message, when compared to simply reading text on a page. Rich media helps capture and hold attention!

With only a small form of content to digest, the cognitive load on the brain is relatively low. A learner can satisfy their need for knowledge with just a little amount – and add more when they need it or are ready for it.

The additional resources have been designed to help you put into practice what you have learnt from the neurohack using templates and checklists to help you move from knowing to doing.

These resources vary from neurohack to neurohack, depending on the supporting material needed to apply the technique explained in the neurohack.

  • If the neurohack helps you understand roles and responsibilities, then there will be role descriptions, questionnaires to help you decide if the right person is in the right role.
  • If the neurohack provides an activity for you to manage the change, there will be a checklist of steps to take, or a template for you to use.
  • Some neurohacks need written guidance, so there is a guidance note.
  • To support you during meetings, presentations, and workshops there are example agendas, example activity plans and timetables.
  • If the neurohack involves analysis, there are grids and models to help you categorise, prioritise, and organise your information.

Yes, you can download the materials to use later, or you can return to the neurohack and download them as you need them.

The artificial intelligence that powers ChangeabilityPro® includes detailed mapping of the contents of the neurohacks and additional resources to a vast number of factors. When you type in a description of your situation, problem or question, the AI will suggest the most relevant content. The platform will suggest up to 3 neurohacks that meet your needs, and if you want more help, you type in the query again and it will make more suggestions.

The search icon at the top right of the screen enables you to put in any word or phrase to see if it matches the name of a neurohack. This is a quick way to find content if you know the neurohack title (perhaps you have watched it before) or if you are searching for a key term and want to know if there is any content for it. For example, if you want to know about data or you want to know how to plan, you can type in data or plan and see what comes up.

The AI search is a much more sophisticated search option, which will suggest content based on the meaning of your question or statement. It is called a “natural language” search which means you do not need to know any special terminology, you can just enter your thoughts and comments exactly as you would ask someone for help.

When you open one of the neurohacks suggested by the AI search, it will open in a separate tab, so click on the original tab to view your AI query and the original search results.

My Journey is your personal record of achievement, listing the number of minutes you have studied and the number of additional resources you have downloaded. It will show you how many neurohacks you have opened and how many you have completed.

No, you don’t need it just make your question general. We follow best practice on data security but when using AI tools for general inquiries follow your company’s data security policies.

When asking an AI search a question, consider including:

Context: Provide enough background to clarify your question.
Example: “For a global project, what are the best ways to manage stakeholder engagement?”

Specificity: Be precise about what you need.
Example: “What are effective methods for tracking engagement in the change programme?”

Keywords: Use clear and relevant terms related to your query.
Example: “Best practices for change management in ERP implementation.”

Constraints: Mention any limitations or focus areas.
Example: “Cost-effective options for virtual team training in small businesses.”

Goal: Clearly state your intended outcome.
Example: “How can I create a training plan for onboarding new users to the project?”
