How We Support Each Other
Supporting each other is the essence of our Change Capability Community. We meet monthly online for debates and presentations, and we have a LinkedIn group to facilitate further discussions. Each year we run the Capability for Change global survey. This survey is useful for everyone involved in bettering how business change is managed. It gives them a platform to assess their progress and compare their progress against others.
After many years at senior levels within other professional bodies, the Change Capability Community was founded by Melanie Franklin and Gillian Perry in 2020, to continue to build the change management profession. The costs of running the community are sponsored by their company, Capability for Change Limited.

This is what you can expect from your community
- Community events are via a Teams call – you can book your place for the events here https://capabilityforchange.com/all-events/
- All our calls have a set of guidelines to recommend that people are collaborative, share ideas and respect confidentiality
- Learning from the sessions are developed as summaries and guidance notes, and to facilitate sharing no mentions are made of individuals by name or the organisation they work for
This is what we ask of you
- We are a community, so the events are not training courses or presentations, they are discussions and co-design sessions, so your contribution is vital – every perspective has value, whatever your level of experience or expertise
- Communities thrive when they grow, giving room to new voices and perspectives, so we need you to share details of the community with others in your network and encourage them to join our events
