Project Managers and behavioural change

I believe that to be an effective Project Manager, an appreciation of what is required to create behavioural change is essential. After all, it is not our project deliverables (new systems, apps, infrastructure etc) that realise benefits, it is their use by all those in the business that make a difference to the bottom line.

I recognise that project management and change management are different disciplines, and I am not saying that Project Managers must become full time Change Managers. However, I do think there are benefits in understanding the scope and techniques of both disciplines, and viewing successful project delivery from the centre
