Change for Senior Leaders
May 14, 2026 1:00 pm GMT
Duration: 30 minutes
Active engagement, support and championing of change is widely recognised as the single most critical factor in the success of organizational change initiatives. Research consistently shows that active, visible sponsorship from senior leaders directly correlates to higher success rates, while a lack of this support is a primary cause of failure, resulting in employee resistance, and limited achievement of benefits. In the latest global Change Capability Survey, respondents identified the inability of senior leaders to “join the dots between all the changes” and a failure to describe a compelling future as critical negative impacts.
In this webinar, Melanie will give a taste of the techniques to manage constant and high volumes of inter-dependent changes from her latest Master Class: Change for Senior Leaders. Melanie will review the importance of building an integrated picture of change, assessing changes for their impacts on values, behaviours and how new capabilities leave people feeling about their work, and the role senior leaders having in building the capability for change for their organisation. Melanie will also discuss the strategic importance of effective change management, and the critical importance of a positive experience of change, as anything less impacts all subsequent changes, which has the ability to slow the entire transformation effort of an organisation.
This webinar is helpful for senior leaders who want insights into their role as sponsors of change, and those in coaching or Heads of Change roles who are supporting senior leaders with their change management responsibilities. This is also useful for those heading up the project and programme management portfolio offices as there is a direct link between information provided by the portfolio and the ability of senior leaders to manage multiple inter-dependent change initiatives.
