Change Capability Community – Developing Empathy for Non-Change Professionals Who Lead Change
February 20 @ 17:00 – 18:00 GMT
Operational, line, people managers, team leaders and supervisors are expected to lead change for their teams and departments.
This work is in addition to heavy pressure to deliver results for their customers so for them is a “side of the desk” activity. Often this requirement to lead change is not matched by any training in change management techniques. To stay relevant, we believe that change professionals like us must support these managers.
In this session, we will begin that journey by “walking in their shoes” and defining their situation and their current experiences of change. We need to create an “As Is” model of their pressures, knowledge gaps, perceptions of change. In later sessions we will return to this subject as we build the “To Be” model of capability building that will support them.
